Graduate Archival Research Award in History
Eligibility
- Satisfactory academic standing
- Recipients must be registered in a graduate degree in History.
- Preference given to students conducting archival research
- Selection based on academic achievement and evaluation of the student’s research plan and progress, including time in program and course work completed.
- This award is meant to support travel for research in archives as well as in libraries and other research centres, in Canada or internationally
- Students may receive this award more than once
- Open to Canadian citizens
- Open to permanent residents
- Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits
- Open to applicants in course-based study programs
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs
- Open to applicants in doctoral programs
- Open to applicants in masters programs
- Open to full time registered students
How to apply
By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
