Jean Cooley Graduate Conference Award in Chemistry
Eligibility
- Satisfactory academic standing
- Students must be registered in the Department of Chemistry and 1) Listed in the analytical division or 2) be taking at least half of their credits in analytical chemistry
- Preference given first to a student who has received the Jean Cooley Graduate Scholarship in Analytical Chemistry
- Preference given second to a student who has not previously held this award
- Selection based on academic achievement and achievement in traditional analytical chemistry research
- Open to students travelling to a chemistry conference. Recipients must be presenting at the conference they are attending (poster or talk)
- Open to students who identify as a woman
- At the time of travel, Master level nominee must have completed the first two terms of the program. Doctoral level nominee must have successfully completed their candidacy examination
- Open to Canadian citizens
- Open to permanent residents
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs
- Open to applicants in doctoral programs
- Open to applicants in masters programs
- Open to full time registered students
How to apply
By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
