  • Satisfactory Academic Standing
  • Faculty of Education or Faculty of Science
  • Selection will be based on demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching
  • Selection will be based on demonstrated ability to communicate the subject matter being taught, providing learners with comprehensive and coherent understanding of the subject matter
  • Selection will be based on ability to generate learner's enthusiasm for the subject(s)
  • Selection will be based on academic standing
  • This scholarship may be held only once by a student
  • Open to Canadian citizens.
  • Open to permanent residents.
  • Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
  • Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
  • Open to applicants in masters programs.
  • Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
  • Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.


How to apply

By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty) and will be part of a competitive adjudication. The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
