Eligibility

  • Faculty of Engineering
  • Nominee must be registered in, or admitted to, a doctoral program in Engineering
  • Nominee must be engaged in a field of research leading to the advancement of technology associated with the development of petroleum resources
  • Nominee must be an outstanding student
  • Recipients may apply in open competition and may hold the award for a maximum of three years
  • Open to Canadian citizens.
  • Open to permanent residents.
  • Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
  • Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.


How to apply

By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
