Slavic and East European Studies 75th Anniversary MA Scholarship
Eligibility
- Department of Modern Languages and Cultural Studies
- Nominees who started their program in the Spring term of the year of nomination are not eligible
- Awarded to a student with high academic achievement
- Preference given to nominees who have an area of study in Slavic Language and Literatures, Slavic Linguistics or Ukrainian Folklore
- If no nominee satisfies Pref. Crit. #1, a student with demonstrable academic involvement in Slavic & East European subject matter may be forwarded (explanation of involvement must accompany the nomination)
- Open to Canadian citizens.
- Open to permanent residents.
- Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
- Open to applicants in masters programs.
- Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
How to apply
By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
