  • Superior Academic Achievement
  • Nominee has quality research focused on sexual and gender minority studies and their application in advocating for sexual and gender minorities in educational community contexts
  • On the basis of academic standing
  • On the basis of nominee's research and advocacy/outreach profile
  • Preference is given to graduate students in the Faculty of Education
  • Students are to contact the Fyrefly Institute for Gender and Sexual Diversity (Faculty of Education) for details on the application process
  • Open to Canadian citizens
  • Open to permanent residents
  • Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits
  • Open to applicants in doctoral programs
  • Open to applicants in masters programs
  • Open to applicants in course-based study programs
  • Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs
  • Open to full-time registered students only

By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
