About the event:

Celebrate the joy of the season with the Kule Folklore Centre’s Ukrainian Christmas Carol Sing-Along! Join us for an uplifting afternoon with our favourite vocalist and KuFC ethnomusicologist Olga Zaitseva-Herz, and share the spirit of Christmas by singing traditional Ukrainian carols together with friends and family. Enjoy a warm, festive atmosphere and treat yourself to delicious Ukrainian-Canadian pastries served throughout the event. All are welcome!

About artist:

Olga Zaitseva-Herz is a Ukrainian-Canadian ethnomusicologist, composer, and educator with a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology from the University of Alberta, known for her research on Ukrainian-Canadian music, her interdisciplinary artistic work, and her current role as a postdoctoral fellow at the Kule Folklore Centre in Edmonton.
