MST 400 students and community partners
Congratulations to our MST 400: Media Portfolio class on their Final Showcase which was held on April 9, 2026 in the Digital Scholarship Centre. We had a full house with students, representatives from community organizations, and Community Service Learning and Media and Technology Studies colleagues present.
Re-envisioned as a Community Service Learning course, this year's theme was "Media, Community, and Transformative Practice". Seven not-for-profits joined seven student groups to create short video projects. These projects gave students training and experience in media making, while they formed new connections with and supported organizations in our Edmonton community.
