Congratulations to Taro Okamura

Taro Okamura has been appointed to a tenured position as Assistant Professor in Philosophy at Doshisha University (Kyoto, Japan). Taro earned his PhD at the University of Alberta with a dissertation on Hume called “Hume’s Epistemic Sentimentalism.” In 2023, he won the Hume Studies essay prize for “Hume’s Passion-Based Account of Moral Responsibility,” which appeared in the journal in November 2023.
