The Postdoctoral Fellows Association (PDFA), in collaboration with the Postdoctoral Affairs Office, Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies, has created an onboarding document as an initial recommended starting point for postdoctoral scholars (PDS) initiating their tenure at the University of Alberta.
It contains important information about the PDFA and your rights under the Collective Agreement, funding opportunities for postdocs, required training that you must complete, and how to access needed services on and off campus.
