TREX-Ai’s core product ALEX, is a decentralized, automated management system for distributed energy resources (DERs). The unpredictability of DERs and the strong localization of transient system dynamics at the grid edge is an emerging set of challenges faced by electric utilities. It threatens to render them unable to provide their core service. ALEX solves these challenges at the source by coordinating distributed energy resources across multiple buildings, unlocking efficiency and stability increases for the electricity grid from the ground up. While ALEX’s performance is comparable with or slightly above the competition, ALEX outshines the competition through superior scalability, usability, and adaptability
