Help us thank our generous donors who have made this funding possible and have invested in your education - and your future.

Our donors want to help students, and they appreciate hearing from you. Sending a quick thank you message is an easy way to let donors know the difference their gift has made to you.

Filling out this form will only take a few minutes and it is so meaningful. Your letter will be forwarded to your donor(s), letting them know more about you and the impact of their gift.

  • What financial barriers did the assistance help you overcome?
  • Did it allow you to volunteer or travel for academic purposes?

  • Why did you decide to study at UAlberta?
  • What are some recent accomplishments or other UAlberta highlights you can share?
  • What research, if applicable, are you conducting?
  • What do you hope to do with your UAlberta education? What's your dream?

  • Introduce yourself and the award(s) you received
  • Thank your donor at the start and end of your letter
  • Explain how their support has made a positive impact in your life
  • Help the donor get to know you by sharing your interests, hobbies and UAlberta experience
