SLIS Connects with International Slavic Library Community

Dr. Toni Samek delivered the keynote address at the 8th International Convention of Slavic Librarians in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina on April 16, 2012. The theme of this year's conference was Librarianship, Human Rights and Activism.

Dr. Toni Samek delivered the keynote address at the 8th International Convention of Slavic Librarians in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina on April 16, 2012. The theme of this year's conference was Librarianship, Human Rights and Activism. Toni subsequently made an invited stop on April 20, 2012 in Zagreb, Croatia, where she spoke about information ethics in library and information studies education for the Centre for Continuing Training of Librarians based in the National and University Library and supported by the Department of Information Studies, the Croatian Library Association and the Zagreb City Libraries.
