SLIS students contributed scholarship to the Literacy Education: Contested Terrain panel at the Centre for Global Citizenship Education and Research (CGCER) International Conference 2015 entitled Global Education, Common Wealth and Uncommon Citizenships.

MLIS student Anna Wilson shared her paper on transforming stories of people with autism. And combined MA(HUCO)/MLIS student Christina Palech co-presented with SLIS Professor Toni Samek on seeking terms of citizenship in graduate LIS education in Canada.

Their fellow panelists included Suzanna So Har Wong, Trudy Cardinal, Jinny Menon, Muna Saleh on uncommon citizenships through diverse children's literature; and, LeeAnne Pawlusk on our media-saturated world.
