Microsoft Publisher Training
Microsoft Publisher is a desktop publishing application that allows users to create brochures, flyers, menus and more. It offers more flexibility for page layout and design than Microsoft Word, and is a far less expensive and less complex alternative to Adobe InDesign, making it popular with small businesses.
This course is designed for students who are new to Publisher. Topics covered in this course are page layout, setting rulers and guides, working with text, adding objects and images, and layering objects. Other topics shown include using master pages, working with templates, the design checker and packing and unpacking publications.
Custom training is also available - email training@ualberta.ca for details.
