The University of Alberta banner is flying at half-mast from November 19-22, 2021 in recognition of Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20. Transgender Day of Remembrance is an annual observance that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence.
