Overview

With its 56 year history and motto -"Creativity, Development, and Service to the Community" Chungnam National University is one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea. It has a variety of academic disciplines, including the Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Economics, Management, Engineering, Agriculture, Life Sciences, Law, Medicine, Fine Arts, and Pharmacy. CNU is located close to the Daedeok R&D Special District, which contains more than 200 research institutes including Samsung's research headquarters, the Multifunctional Administrative City, the Daejeon Government Complex, and the Headquarters of the Korean Army, Air Force, and Navy

Language of Instruction: English

Students can select to take up to 2 courses (worth 3 Chungnam credits each).  Course listings are provided in the Chungam Summer School Brochure. Courses offered:

Fees & Costs

Education Abroad Fee: $250.00 CAD

Tuition:  EXCH 811 approx. $1,500 CAD paid through BearTracks

Program Fee - $900 USD - Paid directly to CNU. Please refer to the brochure for additional information. Accommodation (dorms in twin/triple rooms) and meal plan (breakfast and dinner on weekdays in the dormitory cafeteria) ARE included in the fees.
