Centre for International Sustainable Development Law

CISDL is based in Montréal and is affiliated with the McGill University’s Faculty of Law. The mandate of the CISDL is ‘To promote sustainable societies and the protection of ecosystems by advancing the understanding, development and implementation of international sustainable development law.’ There are six Legal Programmes around which CISDL operates
i) Sustainable international trade and sustainable development law
ii) Sustainable international biodiversity law
iii) Sustainable human rights law and poverty eradication
iv) Sustainable international natural resources law
v) Sustainable international climate change law and vulnerability
vi) Sustainable international health law
