Our Faculty is home to a wide range of facilities, which rank among the best-equipped facilities for teaching, research, sport, and recreation of any university in Canada.

North Campus facilities are housed in the Van Vliet Complex, named for the faculty's founding dean, Dr. Maury Van Vliet. Dr. Van Vliet served the University from 1945 to 1978 as a teacher, coach, and administrator.

North Campus facilities include Physical Activity and Wellness Centre, Pavilion, Hanson Fitness and Lifestyle Centre, Wilson Climbing Centre, Main Gym, Clare Drake Arena, gymnasiums, dance studios, multi-purpose studios, various meeting rooms, and classrooms.

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Hanson Fitness and Lifestyle Centre Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Wilson Climbing Centre Hours
Monday to Friday: 4:00 to 8:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 to 4:00 PM

Van Vliet Complex, Hanson Fitness and Lifestyle Centre, and the Wilson Climbing Centre are CLOSED on Statutory Holidays and Statutory Holidays observed: New Year Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Heritage Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Monday, Remembrance Day, Christmas Break
