Mohandas Gandhi, Satyagraha and the Living Out of Peace: Common Spiritual Sources - Workshop with Hannah Goa. Hannah Goa is currently working on an MSc in Human Ecology at the University of Alberta. Her interest in peace studies and Gandhian philosophy was sparked at a conference hosted by the Gandhi Foundation in 1993, since she has travelled to India several times visiting several sites of significance to Gandian culture. She also has worked in Edmonton to better understand poverty in the modern world.

African Culture and Merton's Vision of Peace - Workshop with Dr. Bitubu-Mufuta Felicien. Dr. Bitbu-Mufuta Felicien was inspired by the writing of Thomas Merton as he considered the devastation of four decades of political violence in Africa. His doctoral work was on African oral literature and his a program worker for Catholic Social Service of Edmonton.

Antidotes to Fear: A Conversation on Religious Capacity - Workshop with Zohra Husaini, Virindra Lamba, and David Goa, all who have written and lectured widely. Zohra Husaini, PhD, serves on the Board of the Edmonton Interfaith Centre for Education.
