On Thursday, November 16th, the China Institute, in partnership with the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs hosted a high-level roundtable on Canada-China relations in Beijing on Thursday November 16, 2017.

The Roundtable brought together former senior officials and government policy experts from both countries to exchange ideas on a wide of range of issues affecting Canada-China relations. The Roundtable discussions focused on four aspects: economic and trade relations and FTA, global security issues, people-to-people relations, and future perspectives for the bilateral relations.

China Institute meets with Vice Foreign Minister Zheng Zeguang

On November 16, 2017, members of the China Institute met with Vice Foreign Minister Zheng Zeguang, who participated in the second meeting of the China-Canada Track II Dialogue. Both sides exchanged views on China-Canada relations and issues of common concern.
