Clinical Services

We can help...

"uplifting the whole people" ~ Henry Marshall Tory

Clinical Services at the University of Alberta supports professional development and research by providing graduate students with quality training experience in the areas of counselling and psychological assessment. Clinical Services at the University of Alberta is committed to the community at large through the provision of low-cost services to the general public.

Clinical Services plays a dual role:

  • A training ground for graduate psychology students.
  • A provider of affordable psychological services for the community.

We cater to individuals across all age groups, including the university community and the general public. Interested individuals can self-refer through our online forms.

Important Notes:

  • We're not a walk-in facility. We do not offer crisis or emergency services. All sessions are strictly by appointment.
  • Cases outside our students' training scope will be redirected to a better-suited professional or agency.
  • Confidentiality is paramount. We strictly adhere to guidelines set by the College of Alberta Psychologists and the Canadian Psychological Association.
  • For child clients, consent from all legal guardians or parents is mandatory.
