CMPUT 495 - Honors Seminar
Overview
This weekly seminar brings students, researchers and practitioners together to examine a variety of topics, both foundational and leading edge. Content varies over successive offerings of the course. Required of all Honors Computing Science students during each Fall/Winter semester of their degree program.
Objectives
- Examine and discuss a variety of ideas in computing science
Course Work
- Participation in lectures
- Each student selects from a variety of possible Honors Activities which range from peer mentoring to presenting a technical topic in class to writing a research proposal.
