Fyrefly's annual mayor's PRide brunch
June 14, 2026 from 10 AM - 1 PM | Blatchford Hangar at Fort Edmonton Park

Our Annual Mayor's Pride Brunch raises funds for our lifesaving and essential 2SLGBTQ+ programs and brings together community and leaders to support and celebrate our programming.
About the Mayor's Pride Brunch
The Mayor's Pride Brunch is an annual event held during Pride Month (in June of each year) to raise funds for our lifesaving programs, which are dedicated to supporting, uplifting, and fostering connection for the 2SLGBTQ+ community. In addition to fundraising for our programs, the event recognizees and celebrates the supportive programming that our organization offers. In the past, our brunches have included hosts like MLAs and MPs, speeches from notable community members and public figures, amazing drag and musical performances, and games or contests! The events also give people a chance to engage in community and always include an appearance and speech by the Mayor.
The programs that we offer are:
- Where the Rivers Meet
- AB GSA Conference
- Family Resilience Project
- Camp fYrefly
- Fyrefly in Schools
- CHEW Project YEG and YYC
