The 30-Day Triple Your Gift Challenge

You can triple your impact! If you give to the U of A before March 31, our partners, EPCOR and ION Print Solutions, will both match your donation, up to $50,000 each, with their dollars supporting students across campus.

Give to the cause you care about most — whether you’re a champion of scientific research or a supporter of student scholarships — and know that your dollars are going three times further.

By joining the challenge, you’ll support students like Delaney Lothian, ’20 BSc(Spec), who turned to the U of A’s First Peoples’ House for help during her undergraduate degree in computer science. First Peoples’ House empowers Indigenous students to achieve personal and academic growth, and Delaney found a listening ear, cultural support and funds to hire a tutor.

“For families like mine, there’s not a long history of attending university — so supports like First Peoples’ House are vital,” she says.

Today, Delaney is pursuing her master of science at the U of A, working on technology that teaches Indigenous languages. Remembering the support she had, she now lends her experience to other students as a tutor through First Peoples’ House.

When you give this month, you’re supporting people like Delaney — the students of today who will bring their intellect, creativity and hope to the challenges of tomorrow.

Give Today

How it works:

  1. Give to the cause you care about most at the U of A by March 31st
  2. EPCOR will match your donation, with their dollars supporting Indigenous students through the Transition Year Program at First Peoples’ House
  3. ION Print Solutions will match your donation, with their dollars supporting students through the University Fund

Message from EPCOR

“For every dollar you donate, EPCOR will donate a dollar to the Transition Year Program through First Peoples’ House at the U of A, up to a total of $50,000.

University isn’t easy — and it can be uniquely challenging for Indigenous students who leave their communities for post-secondary. The Transition Year Program provides first-year Indigenous students with the academic, social and cultural supports to ease the adjustment to university, allowing them to take full-time courses with the goal of transferring into a degree program with relevant credits completed.

In 2020, EPCOR started a three-year partnership with First Peoples’ House to support First Nations, Métis and Inuit learners. At EPCOR, we believe in supporting programs that set young people up for success for their entire educational journey. Now, you can join us on that mission.”

Message from ION Print Solutions

“We want to give the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers a boost — and we know that the U of A community joins us in doing the same. When you give to the U of A, we'll make a matching donation that helps students succeed. It’s both a gift and a challenge — one we are confident that U of A supporters will rise to meet.”
