Program Overview

This program provides international students with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and deepen their knowledge in their field of study by participating in ongoing research activities at UTEC in Lima, Peru.

Research projects available in the following areas:

• Applied Mathematics and Computing
• Bioengineering
• Communications, Automation, and Control
• Energy
• Engineering and Technology
• Impact and Social Responsibility
• Materials and Construction Systems
• Mathematics and Computing
• Business and Operations

Duration: Maximum 3 months

Application Deadlines + Instructions

Deadline:

• Apply at least 3 months in advance

Instructions: Please apply on Horizons. Students will be nominated if they meet the basic eligibility and the host will review applications thereafter. Instructions will follow with further application steps for students who are conditionally approved.

Fees + Costs

• Placement Fee: $250 

Students are encouraged to apply for funding even if they do not have a confirmed internship to avoid missing important deadlines.
