What the Program has to offer:

The 2025 Summer Mandarin Program in Taiwan is a two-month Chinese language study abroad program run by the Department of East Asian Studies at the University of Alberta in partnership with the National Taiwan Normal University (N.T.N.U.)

Term Dates: June 23 - August 21, 2025

June 23-24: Registration and Placement testing
June 30: New student orientation and Class schedule released
July 1: First day of class
August 21: Last day of class

Eligibility Requirements

Open to: All Faculties

Level: Undergraduate, Graduate

Prerequisite: Students who have had a minimum of 1 year of Chinese college equivalent or more (completed Chinese 101/102 or higher before July 2025) are eligible to apply for the 2025 program
