About the Division
The goal of the Division of Hospital Medicine is to provide the best possible patient care, teaching and research in the pediatric inpatient setting.
Our full-time and part-time members are involved in quality improvement initiatives, educational activities, patient advocacy and other innovative approaches to the care of hospitalized children. Education in the clinical setting, classroom and beyond, is an integral part of our mission. Because our clinical work is focused on inpatients, we can develop creative ways to improve the educational experience of hospital based learners, an area that has been historically overlooked.
