Division of Developmental Pediatrics Humanism in Medicine Award

The division of developmental pediatrics humanism in medicine award is awarded annually to a general pediatric resident physician with satisfactory academic standing and demonstrated humanistic care through self-reflection, compassion, and commitment to understanding the experiences of others. Preference is given to a general pediatric resident physician who demonstrates altruism, respect and empathy to colleagues and allied health team members, and who models resilience and self-compassion through a commitment to work-life balance and self-care.

Application/Nomination Procedure

Nominations via Google Form are accepted from a co-resident, other physician, or other non-physician (i.e nursing staff, allied health professional, administrator, students, family/patient). All nominations are then reviewed by an Awards Committee.
