2025-26 Report to the Community: Physical Therapy
It was a year of milestones for the Department of Physical Therapy. As the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine marks its 50th anniversary, the department celebrates 70 years since its first class of physiotherapy graduates — honouring that trailblazing legacy while building what comes next. Highlights include the grand opening of the MSK & Sports Therapy Teaching Clinic, a successful accreditation visit for the Augustana campus, preparations for a new Rural Health Hub in Camrose, and more than 100 peer-reviewed publications from a research community advancing spinal cord injury recovery, stroke rehabilitation and inclusive dementia care.
