Eligibility

  • Satisfactory academic standing
  • Department of Oncology
  • Cancer Sciences
  • Selection based on academic achievement and demonstrated research potential and/or ability
  • Preference given to students engaged in research on the role of fatty acid binding proteins and their ligands in glioblastoma, breast cancer or other cancers at the Cross Cancer Institute
  • Receipt of funding for the second year is contingent upon satisfactory academic standing, and continuation in a graduate degree in the Department of Oncology - Cancer Sciences
  • Open to Canadian citizens.
  • Open to permanent residents.
  • Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
  • Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
  • Open to applicants in masters programs.
  • Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
  • Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.

By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
