Department of Physics Observatory
The University of Alberta's observatory is opened to the public on Thursday evenings. No previous experience is necessary and admission is free.

Sky Scan Science Outreach Program
Science 6 and Science 9 students can participate in real science projects involving the electromagnetic spectrum. Teachers can invite Sky Scan to their schools, or bring students to the University of Alberta.

ISSET Space Academy Camp
University of Alberta’s Institute for Space Science, Exploration and Technology (ISSET) invites children from Grade 3 to Grade 9 to come and explore space with our scientists. Our innovative week-long programs provide hands-on experience as you learn about space weather, planetary geology, robotics and space instrumentation.
