The Grant Assist Program (Health Sciences) holds numerous workshops yearly to assist applicants in preparing their CIHR applications. The workshops provide information on all aspects of grant writing, including grantsmanship, insights into the application process, and budget development.

How to include Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI)/Sex & Gender in Funding Applications 
NSERC and CIHR are encouraging applicants to consider sex and gender in research design (if relevant) and to incorporate equity, diversity, and inclusion in recruitment and training plans for students as well as in research teams. Join us to hear ideas on how to incorporate sex and gender in research proposals and consider EDI in HQP Training Plans and learn about EDI resources and initiatives at the UAlberta that will support the development of research applications.
Audience: Applicants from Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics & Medicine and particularly those applying to NSERC & CIHR.
