Where Ideas Become Impact
The Student Innovation Centre (SIC) empowers University of Alberta students to explore ideas, build prototypes, develop entrepreneurial skills, and bring innovative solutions to life through technology, collaborative spaces, workshops, mentorship, and industry connections.
The SIC is a 5,000+ sq. ft workspace dedicated to growing and sustaining a culture of student-led innovation. The physical layout is modern, flexible, and inspiring, designed to facilitate collaboration between students as they explore their ideas.
The SIC boasts:
- bookable project rooms,
- open seating areas,
- conferencing capabilities,
- a growing network of equipment,
- and, FREE student programming and workshops through the academic year!
