This week, the University of Alberta is celebrating the winner of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research’s inaugural Indigenous Graduate Award, a Green Gown Award finalist, and more. So, congrats to the following:
• Cosette Gilmour, Student, Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Faculty of Science — selected to attend the prestigious Vatican Observatory Summer School
• Trina Innes, Chief Sustainability Officer, Office of Sustainability — recognized as a finalist for a Green Gown Award (Sustainability Professional Category) by the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges based in the United Kingdom
• Toni Letendre, Student, Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation — received the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research’s inaugural Indigenous Graduate Award
• Alexandra Poznikoff, Student, Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation — selected to participate in Hockey Canada’s Women’s hockey development camp
