Torrenz Cole Wildeman grew up among the people of Peace River, attending Good Shepherd Elementary School and graduating from Glenmary High School in 2017. He completed two years of post-secondary education at Augustana University in Camrose, Alberta, and started his third year at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.

Torrenz loved school, mostly because that's where his friends were. He was involved in high school basketball and football. He had a passion and aptitude for music: he played all manner of guitars, saxophone, he even attempted bassoon. He gave his music to the high school band program, for church services, in frequent jam sessions with his friends, at guitar camp and in musical theatre. Torrenz's other passions included working as a lifeguard, fishing, boating, hunting and kayaking on the beautiful Peace River. He loved his three cats and his goofy dog, Jake. Recently he rode the streets and trails on adventures with his mom on their new electric bikes.

Torrenz is survived by his loving parents Joanne Boutet and Allan Wildeman and sister Sarah, his wonderful extended family, and the community of Peace River, our adopted northern family.
