I am proud to announce the University of Alberta’s 2023 Killam Laureates.

This year, we have the privilege of welcoming a remarkable cohort of twenty six doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows and professors into the circle of Killam endowment recipients. The impact they have had on our campuses and the broader community is a testament to their dedication and expertise. Their outstanding contributions to teaching, research and creative endeavors have left an indelible mark on our university and I wish them well in the accomplishments that lie ahead.

The Killam awards recognize stellar academic achievement, leadership and extraordinary success in teaching and research. I am grateful to the Killam trustees for stewarding these important trusts, which further learning, creativity and research for both the U of A and its Killam laureates.

Please join me in congratulating the U of A’s 2023 Killam Laureates!
