New Staff Service Centre web page to launch November 30

We are excited to announce a new Staff Service Centre web page will launch on November 30. Built in consultation with the university community, the new web page will provide a refreshed design that is intuitive and simpler to navigate.

Your feedback matters

We’ve heard feedback from the university community about the challenges in navigating our current web page and difficulty in finding where to submit requests. In October of this year we engaged with the university community to share a draft design of our new web page. Users who had previously submitted a ticket through the service portal and those who visited the Staff Service Centre web page were invited to participate and provide feedback.

We greatly appreciate the individuals who took the time to meet with us and share their thoughts on our new design. These sessions confirmed we were headed in the right direction and informed additional changes to make the page that much more user friendly and intuitive.

What’s changing?

In response to this feedback, we have introduced the following improvements to streamline the process of submitting requests and forms:

• Reduced Links: We've reduced the number of links on the page to make navigation more straightforward.
• Enhanced Visibility of Submission Button: The button for submitting requests, inquiries, or forms is now prominently placed at the top of the page for easy access.
• Tips Section: A new section with helpful tips has been added to assist you in submitting requests seamlessly.
• Estimated Wait Times: Though not exhaustive, we are beginning to introduce wait times to provide clear expectations for when you can expect your request to be fulfilled.

Chatbot coming soon

We are dedicated to continually improving your experience. We are excited to share that we will be introducing a chatbot to our web page by the end of the year. Our chatbot will be a valuable tool to help locate information for finance, human resources and IT services. Stay tuned for more information.
