»Sept 2009. The new school year is upon us! We are recruiting new volunteers and new teachers for the 2009-2010 year! Teachers click here, volunteers click here for more information.

» Aug 2008. LTS U alberta and Science FUNdamentals form a strategic alliance! Science FUNdamentals is an undergraduate run program with very similar ideals as LTS. In 2008-2009 we will be co-training our volunteers, and running co-appreciation events! This will be an exciting alliance!

» LTS U alberta welcomes Jeffrey Newton as a new coordinator for 2008-2009!The gang at the 2008 year end party.

» 2007-2008 was our best year ever! We reached over 2000 youth! Way to go guys! Our end of year party was a blast

» February 27, 2008 - The Western conference was lots of fun, and we got lots of great ideas for activities and site management from the coordinators at 8 universities accross Western Canada!

» January 1, 2008: Happy New Year. We can see that some of you made visits already in the first term. Keep up the good work, and don't forget to write up your activity report online after each vist!

» September 1, 2007: New reimbursement policy - Our accountants now require all volunteers need to keep their receipts until the end of the year and then get all receipt reimbursed at once (or when they have finished all their visits). Individual expendatures should be small so hopefully this is not a burden on any volunteers, however if there are any problems we can make special arrangements.
