My research focuses on small RNAs (such as tRNAs) and their role in regulating/activating signalling networks and the cellular proteome. Currently most of our investigations are focused on two projects areas: First, the role of tRNAs in activating starvation related signaling networks. Second, post-translational dependent amino acid addition to proteins. Post-translational addition of amino acidsis the transfer of an amino acid from a charged tRNA to the N-terminus of a protein by aminoacyl-tRNA transferases.

»Prior to 2007 we have no records. However we know that the U Alberta site was founded in 1997 which actually makes it one of the oldes LTS sites in the country. If you can fill in any of the gaps in our history, we'd love to hear from you!
