After you have submitted your application, you will have access to the UAlberta Launchpad portal to check your application status and review any checklist items for your program.

In addition to access to the UAlberta Launchpad portal, you will also be assigned a new UAlberta email address, a unique student number, and a Campus Computing ID (CCID). Your CCID and student ID numbers are issued as applications are processed. It can take up to 48 hours to receive your CCID and login information once you have submitted and paid for your application.

Accept Your Offer

When your admission offer is available, you will be notified to go to UAlberta Launchpad to accept your offer. For most students new to the University of Alberta, a non-refundable tuition deposit is required in order to accept your offer of admission and confirm a spot in your program. Your spot in the program is not confirmed until we receive your payment. Find out more about deadlines as well as the tuition deposit and how to pay.

If you applied for residence, you will also accept the residence offer in UAlberta Launchpad to secure your space. After you’ve accepted, you will receive a link to your residence contract, along with information about your residence and life on campus.

Register in Courses

Once you have accepted your admission offer and paid the tuition deposit, you will be eligible to register in courses after your enrolment appointment date. In the meantime, you can browse courses and build a sample schedule based on current course offerings. Course registration will open in April 2023.
