Prospective Student Advising

Virtual Advising

No matter what questions you have about the University of Alberta, admissions and university life, we are committed to supporting you in getting those questions answered. Join us online for a virtual advising session today!

General Advising

Chat with an advisor and learn about program options, admission requirements, the application process, and more.

Faculty-Specific Advising

Chat with a faculty advisor and get answers to your questions about your faculty and program of interest. The faculties that offer faculty-specific advising sessions are as follows:

  • Augustana
  • Campus Saint-Jean
  • College of Health Sciences
    • Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation
    • Nursing
  • College of Natural & Applied Sciences
    • Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences
    • Engineering
    • Science
  • College of Social Sciences & Humanities
    • Arts
    • Business
    • Education
  • Native Studies

Please note that not all Faculties will be offering faculty-specific advising sessions for the month of September. University of Alberta recruiters will be visiting high schools across the country so come chat with us at a booth! Contact your school counsellor to see if we will be visiting your area. Open House on October 15 will also be a great opportunity to have your faculty-specific questions answered in person. Faculty virtual advising will resume on October 3 or feel free to email us directly.
