AI4DA Collaborates with Business Wide View on AI for Agriculture

The AI Centre for Decision Analytics at the University of Alberta has officially partnered with Business Wide View (BWV Farms) to explore the application of artificial intelligence in agriculture.

This collaboration focuses on developing data-driven solutions to address key challenges in the agricultural sector, including soil health monitoring, pasture management, and resource optimization. By combining AI4DA’s expertise in decision analytics with BWV’s industry knowledge, the partnership aims to create practical tools that enhance efficiency and sustainability on farms.

Through pilot projects and applied research, the collaboration is exploring how AI can transform traditional farming practices, leveraging data to improve decision-making, reduce uncertainty, and support long-term environmental and economic outcomes.

This partnership reflects AI4DA’s broader mission to bridge academia and industry, translating advanced analytics research into real-world impact across sectors.
