Classes and Learning

How can I keep up to date on the status of my classes?

The university is committed to supporting your success as a student and would work to reduce any impacts on academic progress that might be caused by a work stoppage (strike or lockout). All classes and most research would stop if AASUA members choose to go on strike or are locked out. Depending on the length of the strike, the academic schedule may need to be adjusted or extended.

Would I still be able to access my labs during a strike?

  • In the event of a strike and disruption to teaching, updates would be provided through updates in the Bear Tracks announcement section on a regular basis.
  • St. Joseph's College and St. Stephen's College classes would continue uninterrupted.
  • Return to class and any schedule or other academic adjustments would be communicated to students through tools including Bear Tracks, the Student Digest and these Collective Bargaining pages.
