Шановні вчителі, освітяни та друзі ULEC!

Щиро вітаємо всіх, хто навчає, вивчає та підтримує українську мову й українськомовну освіту, з початком нового навчального року!

Це завжди час нових планів, підготовки та можливостей. Для вчителів - ще й час зустрічей із новими учнями, повернення до знайомих класів і пошуку способів зробити українську мову живою, цікавою та важливою частиною навчання і щоденного життя дітей.

У ULEC ми раді й надалі працювати разом з освітянами, родинами та громадами. Упродовж року ми ділитимемося навчальними матеріалами, можливостями для професійного розвитку, результатами досліджень, новинами наших спільнот та іншими ресурсами, покликаними підтримувати вивчення української мови в різних освітніх середовищах.

Також хочемо нагадати про ULEC Express - нашу щомісячну україномовну газету для дітей з різним рівнем володіння українською мовою. У кожному випуску на вас чекають цікаві тексти, нова лексика та різноманітні завдання, які можна використовувати на уроках або читати й виконувати вдома разом із батьками.

Дякуємо за вашу працю та за те, що створюєте простір, де українська мова живе, звучить щодня й передається наступним поколінням. Бажаємо вам і вашим учням натхненного початку 2026-2027 навчального року, успіхів і радості від навчання. Ми будемо раді залишатися з вами на зв’язку та працювати разом!

Dear teachers, educators, and friends of ULEC,

As classrooms come back to life and a new school year begins, we would like to send our warm wishes to everyone teaching, learning, and supporting Ukrainian language education.

The beginning of a school year brings a familiar mix of planning, preparation, and new possibilities. For many educators, it also means welcoming new students, reconnecting with returning learners, and finding new ways to make Ukrainian a meaningful part of their learning and everyday lives.

At ULEC, we look forward to another year of working alongside educators, families, and communities. Throughout the year, we will continue to share teaching resources, professional learning opportunities, research and community updates, and materials that support Ukrainian language learning in different educational settings.

One resource to keep in mind as the school year begins is ULEC Express, our Ukrainian-language monthly newspaper created for children of varying levels of Ukrainian competency. With readings, vocabulary, and activities in each issue, it can be used by teachers in the classroom or enjoyed by children and their families at home.

Thank you for the work you do to create spaces where Ukrainian can be learned, used, and passed on to the next generation. We wish you and your students a rewarding start to the 2026-2027 school year and look forward to staying connected throughout the year.
