Community Change Challenge

Calling all students! Join the Community Change Challenge!

Have a great idea to make a difference? Bring it to life at CSL’s Community Change Challenge, a student innovation event where creativity meets community impact!

In small teams (2-4 students), you’ll brainstorm and design a business idea or marketing concept that supports a social cause or community partner. Over the course of one day, you’ll collaborate, create, and pitch your ideas to a panel of CSL staff and community partners for a chance to win prizes and be featured on CSL’s website and social media.

• Main pitch event at 5 - 8 p.m. at Carruthers Student Commons, Business Building

📚 Who Can Join: Open to all students (no case competition or CSL experience required!)

Whether you’re studying business, arts, science, or anything in between, this is your chance to connect your learning with real-world impact and show how innovative ideas can drive positive change in our communities.

✨ Highlights:

• 24 hours of teamwork, creativity, and community engagement culminating in a pitch event (5 - 8 p.m.)
• Snacks and fun activities provided
• Networking with CSL staff and community partners
• A supportive, inspiring environment to test your ideas

• Registration closes on November 26
• Teams will get the case via email on November 27 at 8 a.m. 
• Teams have 24 hours to research, brainstorm, and prepare a presentation (PowerPoint or Google Slides)
• At Carruthers Student Commons, teams will deliver a 15-minute presentation to a panel of judges on November 28 (5 - 8 p.m.) to claim the winning spot!
