Partners in Education (PIE) Program
Partners in Education (PIE) aims to acknowledge the valuable contributions and learning opportunities community partners offer to CSL. PIE supports and enhances the capacity of individuals and organizations that contribute to CSL's curricular program each term.
PIE provides one (1) space in the Fall and Winter term for individual staff members from non-profit partner organizations to be students in courses offered through Continuing Education. CSL will cover the cost of the course for the successful applicant.
Criteria:
- Applicant must currently be in at least their second term as a CSL Community Partner
- Applicant must have supervised a minimum of 2 students by the course start date
- Applicant must be an off-campus not-for-profit organization. Employees of the University of Alberta, schools, and the City of Edmonton are not eligible
- Applicant cannot currently be enrolled at a post-secondary institution
- Applicant must have time and permission from employer to participate fully in the course during normal work hours
- Admission is subject to CSL Program discretion
