CSL Event: Make a Friend

Frankenstein your own felt creations at our Make a Friend event! Take a break before the busy finals season and enjoy this semester’s CSL event. Connect with and relax alongside fellow students and CSL staff in an evening full of crafting, snacking, and creating to your heart's delight!

Don’t know how to sew? No problem! Staff will guide you through the steps of creating a felt stuffie or keychain.

You can learn the basics of:

  • hand sewing
  • button application
  • other textile techniques

All skill levels are welcome! There will also be glue-on and pre-cut alternatives for a quicker design process.

Feel free to utilize the provided templates and guides, or go wild with your imagination while creating your felt-made friends. All materials will be provided and free to use (no registration required).

Don’t be a stranger, and pop on down to the Make a Friend event on Friday, November 20 from 4 to 7 pm. We will be located in the Education North second-floor foyer. We hope to see you there!
