Ellen Forget is an Izaak Walton Killam Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Alberta in English and Film Studies. They work at the intersection of book history, disability studies, and digital humanities with a focus on print disabilities, braille, and small-press publishing.
Kristen Smith is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in English and Film Studies (UofA) undertaking SSHRC-funded research in the neuroscience and linguistics of sonic processing in the creation and reception of poetry. As a Narrative Poetry Prize winner (2019), a Fineline Competition finalist (2020), and Pushcart Prize nominee (2021), Kristen is engaged in art creation in community and collaboration both academically and creatively.
