In January 2023, Alberta became the first jurisdiction in Canada to regulate the use of psychedelics in research. Psychedelics, including psilocybin, may offer major breakthrough therapies for mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, and PTSD, when combined with psychiatric treatment, but what is the research that supports this?

Join Peter Silverstone, a Department of Psychiatry Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, best-selling author of “Promise of Psychedelics: Science-based Hope for Better Mental Health”, and CEO of Zylorion Health, an Alberta-based psychedelics company, to hear how his research on psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy holds the promise of revolutionizing the treatment of mental health care.

This event is open to all alumni and their guests.

This event is now sold out.
